WCRR 2022
The most important event of rail research and innovation (WCRR 2022) took place in Birmingham (UK) on June 6-10. Distinguished speakers discussed technologies for the entire rail system in two plenary sessions, many master classes, interactive presentations and oral presentations. The most important topics for the new European institutional partnership in rail (Euroepe’s Rail JU - ERJU) were DAC - Digital Automatic Coupler, ERJU System Pillar - as an interoperability driver, hydrogen propulsion for trains and very interesting technical visits. WCRR 2022 was a week full of new challenges, new perspectives and networking after the 3 long years with the COVID pandemic during which research and innovation has not stopped.
